Late Night Writing Hours
with Kim Moore
Hi all - I’m running 5 nights of “Late Night Writing Hours”, from July 8th - 12th. The Late Night Writing Hours will take place from 9pm till 10pm, hopefully after my five year old is safely asleep! The cost is £15 for all five sessions or £5 for one session. If you would like to come but can’t otherwise afford to, there are also some bursary tickets for £1. Please spread the word if you can!
You can book by clicking on this link: Late Night Writing Hours
I’m also hoping to get another “First Draft to Last Draft” post up very soon - this one will be for paid subscribers only. It’s a little late - but for the last week I have been buried under a mountain of marking for my university job.
If you are interested in creative-critical research, sexism, feminism, poetry or research methods that might suit neuro-diverse ways of thinking, I’m taking part in an online event today with Lancaster University - a “Creative Writing as Research Symposium” - click on the link for more information!
I’m running an in-person poetry masterclass in Hebden Bridge this Saturday (June 1st) from 10.45 till 12.45 as part of the Arvon Festival of Writing. More information at this link: Arvon Festival of Writing
And finally, if you are anywhere near Mytholmroyd, there is a great poetry reading taking place at The Dusty Miller on June 4th - poets are Julia Deakin, Rachel Mann, John McAuliffe and Chris Preddle, starting at 7.30pm. You can just tun up, no need to book. It’s free, but a hat is passed round for the poets.
I hope to see you either online or in person, or perhaps both over the next week or two!
