This has been an extraordinarily difficult winter for those of us that wrestle with depression. We're nearly through now, thank goodness. Thank you as ever for your beautiful words and photographs Clare.
This is so very beautiful and luminous Clare. It brings me so much joy and hope for brighter days. I am so glad a little hedgehog has an incubator now! Thank you for the wonderful gift of your writing ( I don't know how to put emojis on with a laptop but if I could, I would do lots of sparkly things and shining hearts) xx
Hi Claire we met a long time ago at The Women's Holiday Centre in Horton in Ribblesdale and I have followed your work ever since. I grew up with Nature, my love of it nurtured by my Dad. The West Pennine bog moors are accessible five minutes from my front door and your work resonates with me as Nature has helped to heal me through many bouts of deep depression. Thankyou for sharing your work. Dodie Shepherd
Thank goodness for all the contrasts that help us appreciate the glimmers & highlights, absolutely beautiful, visceral, wonderfully filmic depictions in your breath taking, heart opening style as always. Thank you for your incredible determination to complete those walks, to share those amazing experiences with your teen & then in writing which paints glorious pictures & revives similar lived experiences in my memory & warms my heart & brings water to my eyes. Spring is showing signs and breaking through as it always does. I saw a bat yesterday at 2pm (which is oddl at any time of year), over the river in the woods beyond salem field & 2 frogs already beginning to spawn near where the bat was. Thank you
I loved reading this, Clare. You've made me so homesick for Grasmere, and my favourite bookshop. Landscape is powerful. I visit that particular area it always eases my anxiety. I'm going to sign up for the workshops. Couldn't do last Sunday but definitely the next one! Love the hedgehog!
This is so beautiful. I'm struggling at the end of winter here too, thanks for this little dose of things wild and green. 💚
Beautiful, lyrical writing. Thank you, Clare. You made a dim and dingy February day warmer, brighter.

This writing was just what I needed. Hope. And hedgehogs. Thank you.
